The Alameda County Fire Department is offering a (rare) Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) in San Leandro—their first Tri-Annual Emergency Preparedness Community Training for 2015 with a special focus: CHILDREN!
This workshop is open to anyone who would like to become more familiar with the unique medical needs of children in emergencies and disasters. CERT graduates and Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) participants are also encouraged to attend. The University of California, San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland staff will present on the unique medical needs that arise among children during a disaster or emergency. You will learn what signs to look for and what to do to help a child in need.
This training will be held on March 26, 2015 at 6:30pm
