There will be dancing in the streets when the much anticipated Sausage and Suds Music Festival returns on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 10 am to 6 pm! The day kicks into high gear with a FREE Zumba class at 10 am–fun for beginners as well as experienced Zumba dancers–and that’s just the warm-up!
Perennial crowd favorites The Coburns, Fleetwood Mask, Tasche, Avance, and The Spazmatics, will keep you on your feet all day long! Sausage & Suds is equal parts street party and homecoming–fun for the whole family. The Kids Zone will have jump houses and a rock climbing wall–FREE for kids. Don’t leave hungry–there will be plenty of sizzling sausages, barbecue sandwiches, vegetarian options, wine and a variety of cold micro brews. Discover a new favorite! “Kid Dogs” and soft drinks will be sold at the The San Leandro Downtown Association food booth.
Sales from the food, beer and wine booths fund other FREE fun events in Downtown San Leandro including “It’s a Wonderful Night” and “BikeSL”.
The festival is 5 blocks east of the San Leandro BART Station at Parrott and E. 14th Streets, in Downtown San Leandro. Follow the sound of the music and the scent of grilled sausages.
Please note: No animals are permitted at this food event, but for everyone else, admission is FREE.
